There are many nice caves in Oudomxay , such as Chom Ong Cave in Meuang Xay, Khamtan Buddha cave in Pakbeng district, Kun Vang Cave in Beng District, Luang cave in Meuang La and other caves around Oudomxay. Some are already explored and some not. One of the most interesting and Beautiful cave is Chom Ong. A cave that you should visit when you are in Oudomxay. Chom Ong cave is one of the Longest caves in Laos.

Many wonderful waterfalls in Oudomxay. Some are already explored and some not. The most famous waterfalls are Talea waterfall, Nam Haeng waterfall, Nam Kat waterfall and some others.

Form Muang Xay Town you can do cycling by yourself by taking a trip to Namkat waterfall in order to explore the various tourist activities in Nam Kat YORLAPA Resort or you can also take a trip to Buddha footprint in Ban LongYa at the same time to see the real life style of Tai Leu Minority in Ban longya.

In the Northern part, there are many off roads (dirt road) you can do adventure trip to remote villages or a place you have never been there before. Oudomxay is one place that you can do off road motorcycling to villages, Cave, waterfall and other areas.

Swimming pool in Oudomxay, there are around 5 pools in Xay town. A short tuk tuk ride will get you there, especially Namkat YOLAPA resort offers you the best swimming pool in the region.
